I’m a fan of finding the right physical activity for everyone and I think that walking is a great minimal cost activity that is suitable for almost everyone. The Alberta UWALK program is great, they’ve made pedometers more accessible to the public, you can borrow a pedometer from a local library these days! You then can track your daily steps yourself or join the group online for extra motivation.
